If I only had $5,000…
… and somewhere to put it! Disney is auctioning off a Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride vehicle. How cool is that?
My family’s always been big into Disneyland, and Mr. Toad’s has long been one of our favorites (although my personal favorite would have to be Pirates of the Caribbean). Anyway, too cool!

It’s amazing what technology can do these days…
Creepy WTC Coincidence
This band’s name is “I am the World Trade Center”. Their July 2001 cd had as it’s track #11 the song “September”. This was before the WTC attacks!
Creepy!
1 commentGeek day!
If you haven’t already, run, don’t walk, to see the clip of Triumph the Insult Comic Dog mocking fans in the line at the Zeigfeld theater here in NYC. It’s where I saw Star Wars, but two days after they taped this. No stormtroopers at my showing! You’ll need DivX to watch it.
Additionally, I found this wacky research paper talking about what happened to Endor after the Death Star was blown up in such a low orbit. Not pretty! Called Endor Holocaust.
Ah, geeky!
And one last geek moment today… Today is Mr. T’s birthday! Hell yeah! Check out some Classic Mr. T Sounds to liven up your pitiful day.

So I saw Star Wars on Friday. My mom’s in town this weekend. We went to the Zeigfeld theater here in NYC. Huge theater, seats 1200 or so, and it had the spiffy digital projection too. The lines were crazy long. Unfortunately all the people in wookie suits and such were there on Thursday, not Friday. Still, we were the 3rd & 4th people in line so we got good seats.
The next day we hit the Brooklyn Museum and saw the Star Wars exhibit. Lots of props, costumes, ships and other good stuff to see.

And for the turtles… check out Gamera the Gymnast! It’s tough enough to do Olympic sports as a human, as a 150 foot tall turtle, man, that takes some skills!
