I was walking around in downtown Brooklyn today taking pictures. This was the coolest sign I saw… love that Brooklyn attitude!

Man, I LOVE this camera. These are some scaled down pics from what I see on my way home from the train station here in Brooklyn to my house, with a detour through Prospect Park. Click on a pic for a larger view. Mostly I seemed to be playing with shadows tonight, and how they look on different surfaces.

Yay! It was bonus time at work, so I could finally afford my dream camera, the Canon Powershot S200 Digital Elph.



Man, this thing is sweet! Not only can it take massively large pictures (1600×1200 resolution with a 2x optical zoom) but it can also take take movies with sound! I think I’m in love…

Just a few pictures from wandering around today. The blue car really looked
like Columbo’s, and the last car was one just covered with nasty notes, dog
poop, strange liquids and even a pizza box (out of frame). They left their car
alarm on all night and other residents were understandably upset.

I never could understand why you’d want an audible car alarm. If you hear an
alarm go off you just want someone to shut it off, be they the owner, the thief,
the police, the tow truck. You just want the noise to stop. If I had a car I’d
totally just get a lojack or something in it.
