Build your own Knight Rider car
Wow, talk about dedicated fans! Check out knightreplicas.com for guides on making either KITT or KARR from Knight Rider. Pretty sweet, actually! Soon every car will have that neat Cylon eye. I wonder if it’d look good on my Honda…
Half-Life 2 rocks my world
I thought nothing would get me off the crack that is World of Warcraft, but I was wrong. Half-Life 2 is amazing!
While at it’s heart, it’s a basic shooter, there’s a lot of fun story and such an immersive feel to everything. The casual way that the troopers will break out their stun batons and start wacking you, to seeing giant spider-legged tanks roaming the streets, to simply wandering through the introduction while all the characters near you go on with their business, letting you overhear what they’re saying. It’s really fantastic. Now I just need some free time! Half-Life 2, World of Warcraft, Metroid Prime 2, Paper Mario… what’s a guy gonna do with so many great games all out at once???
No commentsWorking Star Trek Communicator
This is pretty slick! It’s a bluetooth handset hacked into a Star Trek Communicator shell. So while there’s no cell phone built in, it can wirelessly make calls through your cell phone. Slick! Check out the Star Trek Classic Communicator Bluetooth Headset at ebay, and here’s a screenshot for when the auction goes offline.
Update: It looks like this is just a mod of a Star Trek garage door opener! Still slick, but not as unique. (Screenshot of garage door opener auction)
