Help out the Red Cross…
If you’re wondering what to do to help the tsunami victims, the best thing is to send cash. Amazon.com has a online donation area for the Red Cross, specifically to help their disaster relief efforts. It’s a great thing to do to help, as sending supplies is difficult since there is so much infrastructure damage. And if you do it in the next couple of days you can use it as a write-off on your 2004 taxes (and if later, your 2005). So help others and lower your taxes a bit!

There’s some great music out there, and Flux Blog can help you find it. They feature a new mp3 every couple of days from some very interesting groups.

I’ll give a more detailed trip summary later, but be sure to check out my London and Paris pictures!
Train Exhibit at the New York Botanical Gardens
This is pretty cool! The New York Botanical Gardens build a replica of New York City and have model trains running through it all. Check out the post at Gothamist for some interesting photos.
We’re buying a house!

Chris and I are buying a house in Woodbridge, NJ, near the Woodbridge Center Mall. It’s a lovely home, a 3 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom house. It has a deck that runs the full length of the back, a second raised deck accessible from the second floor, and a hot tub!
It’s in a really nice neighborhood, very residential, a block away from a great park, a few blocks from an elementary school and only a half mile from the NJ Transit train station so we can walk to the train to go to work.
We signed a contract and yesterday it started into the attorney review process. Hopefully we can get it out and signed before we’re off to London for the week.
Very exciting!
