Big scary Windows vulnerability
Ok, putting on my tech support hat here. Everyone running any version of Windows with any browser is now vulnerable to a new Windows exploit. A special image type, displayed in any browser or program that can display images, can execute code on a machine. This means that viewing an image can infect your computer with no intervention on your part.
Scary!
Microsoft is supposed to patch this on January 10th. In the mean time, be sure to update your antivirus, and ideally you should install the patch listead at grc.com until the official Microsoft patch is released.
