So we’re finally getting the basement properly waterproofed.  Our old system was a single sump pump, not attached to any drains, so we were getting water leaking from the walls running over the floor.  The new system is a french drain, where water will go out of the walls and into a trench dug around the perimeter.  See pictures of how it’s gone today on day one.  Tomorrow is cleanup day.
