Playing at the Dorbrook Park “Sprayground”

We had a fun day today, we went down to Dorbrook Park in Colt Neck, NJ. They have a “Sprayground”, a large playground with sprinkler & water splashing toys, along with a great playground and pools and other things to do. Maddie loved it!

After that it was off to Bobby’s Burger Palace at the Monmouth Mall. Yum!

A day at the beach

Me, Grammy, Madeline and Chris all went to Point Pleasant Beach and Belmar today. Lots of fun with rides on the boardwalk and the Belmar Seafood Festival for dinner! Yum! See all the photos here.

We went down to PA for Mom-mom’s birthday, and caught the Philles-Mets game too. Marie’s birthday was even shown on the scoreboard (view the large pictures of the score to see).

We took Maddie to the Menlo Park Mall to have her picture taken with the Easter Bunny. Maddie loved it, she loves hamming it up for the camera. See some more pictures here.

A day down the Shore

We had a great weekend, with wonderful weather, so we went down the Shore to Point Pleasant Beach for some frozen custard. Mmm… Kohr’s! See the pictures here.

The storm destroyed my shed

We had a massive Nor’easter last night, and the wind clocked gusts up near 70 mph! Unfortunately the direction of the wind had it blowing exactly into the doors of our shed, and it picked up the shed and dropped it onto my neighbor’s yard. He helped me get it back onto my lot, and the wind picked it up again! I broke out all the walls and then smashed it down to the roof, and the wind picked it up one more time and flipped it onto his yard. I dragged it upside down back to the concrete base and stacked weights on it, and it finally stayed put. Not fun to have the shed destroyed, but surprisingly fun to smash it up by hand!

We went to visit Mom-mom and Pop-pop Santoro this weekend. We hit Delaware for some tax-free electronics shopping too (with only a few GPS snafus). Here are some more pictures of course!
